formatting

    :yum i recently dropped my laptop so i decided to reinstall windows because i could not get it to load.now it wont format past 53%

    Suggest you run CHKDSK, sounds like the "Drop" has corrupted the HD if your lucky that will work if not, a new HD is required. Sorry I can't offer any better news, and hope that works. Oh and welcome to Major Geeks
