forum suggestion regarding posting pics?

i don't know if it's a separate forum plugin or separate program that would need to be purchased, but it's one where any pic posted (uploaded to somewhere like tinypic.com) automatically reduces in size (has a black bar, at the top, showing the original size and percentage reduced) and can be clicked on to full, clear size), on all posted pics, to save space & avoid any blurriness.

no more fuzzy/blurry pics that can't be viewed clearly when people need to show you a problem/issue/etc. and have to repost a bigger pic. just a thought in case it's a free forum plugin that could be implemented without users needing their own individual program or the forum owners having to shell out money.

i'd post a link to a forum example but i can't remember what they were. i've made a few suggestions that people try tinypic.com to host pics because i thought that was where it came from. found out differently the first time i posted a pic here, that i had hosted there.

outside of that (and this part of the question may belong in software), does anyone know exactly what program does what i'm describing?

 

Hello cake, the only one I know of that will do that, is photobucket.com ... I use it quite frequently...You have to create an account, but it is free, and you can upload your pix and re-size them there, before posting them.. Posting them from photobucket is very simple. Once the pic is uploaded, and edited, you will see links at the bottom of it, and you can copy and paste the image link to post a pic here in the thread, or if you prefer to e-mail a pic, just copy and past the direct link to the pic, and then you send that link on to whoever you wanted to share pix with.. Good idea

 

you can do that on tinypic, too, but will definitely check out photbucket. i think i'm looking for something else and sach2 just posted in a thread and i'm off to ask about his pic.
