Forward Email from Yahoo

I am helping some seniors at a retirement home to learn basic computer skills. Many of them have a Yahoo email account but find it difficult to navigate same. We installed a senior-friendly program called SoftShell which allows use of a touch screen and it works well to a point. We want to enable the person's Yahoo email to be forwarded to SoftShell for viewing but so far can't figure out how to do this. Anyone have any ideas?? Thanks. (We have already set up individual email accounts for those who want them.)

Free Yahoo does not allow forwarding; you need a paid account to do this. In order to forward/POP free yahoo, you need to install another program. The one people use is YPops! but from reading about the current version that came out in March it is not working well.

At this time, I would not advise trying YPops!.

I have an email account at gmx.com It will do both webmail and POP. It is also free. If someone has a new account and thereby doesn't have many addresses yet, you might want to look at http://mail-us.gmx.com/service/

I should have explained better: we want to eventually get all the retirees off their Yahoo email and onto the SoftShell system because it is all touch screen with LARGE titles. We hoped to migrate their incoming messages from Yahoo to SoftShell and have only one account per person. Since it looks like that is not possible, we will try to have them send a common message to all their Yahoo contacts using that contact list pointing out the new SoftShell address. Thanks for your help in this matter, it saves me spending hours trying to do the impossible. Help here is very much appreciated.
