Foscom f18908w and NeatGear WNR2000

Just purchased this wireless capable ip camera and it will not see my wireless network when I unplug the network cable, after it detects it with the wire connected. Does anyone have any experience with this? Any tips? I've tried changing my encription protocol, no luck. The manual sucks. Thanks in advance.

And I did update the firmware on the router and camera.

 

Thanks, I checked out that forum and it seems that my issue is not uncommon. But I get the impression that it's not a problem with the camera as it's a problem with documentation and language translation from Chinese to English. They're definitely missing a step or they are assuming the consumer is more knowledgable in the subject than they really are.

That said, I didn't find a resolution to my issue, but I posted there as well.

Well I got it working. In reading further into the manual it says that the camera supports WEP and WAP encryption. My router has WEP and WPA and WPA2 but made no mention of a WAP. I don't know if that's a typo or what, but I had my encryption set to both WPA+WPA2. When I switched my encryption to just WPA, it popped up in the configuration tool, and in my attached devices list in my router. I'm not messing with success. My guess is that WAP in the manual was a typo. But admittedly, there was some user error on my part as I didn't realise I had set my router to use an unspported encryption.
