foxit question

hi again i just removed all of adobe from my laptop cause i decided to try foxit

now this is probubly a stupid question but im gonna ask anyway

i clicked on the foxit link in your sticky thread my computer is slow

downloaded foxit to my desktop and its in a zip folder so do i extract it or just leave it alone

 

Its a standalone program! No installation required! This exe will render your PDFs and allow you almost all (if not more) of the functionality of Adobe Acrobat. Just double-click the exe, and then open your file. Or, if you need help associating PDFs with this app, just post back.

i went to the site i posted before and a little box came up saying open or save

i opened it and it opened so its working so does that mean i dont have to extract the contents of the foxit zip folder

 

Oh my apologies! Yes, the executable comes compressed, so you will need to extract the file somewhere on your system before you can use it. There really isn't any installation required, you won't have to go through normal installation prompts, no files are copied (other than the exe), and no registry keys are set.
