FPS drops while gaming

    Hello, I'm trying to play dota 2 and my FPS drops dramatically after about 5 mins of game play. I have my setting set to the absolute minimum as well. It starts at 55FPS then it drops to about 8-10FPS.
    Specs:
    -Nvidia GeForce 310M
    -4GB RAM
    - Intel Core i5 CPU M20 @ 2.40GHz
    - Hard Disk 211 GB free of of 353 GB
    - windows 7
    I have also updated my graphic driver to the latest version
