Ok as of right now i am not going to bother listing my specs because i dont believe they are a problem.

I bought new ram and a new video card about 4-5 months ago, and sense i have been running games like doom3, hl2, wow, cs:s, and more all on the highest settings and all around 70-75FPS.

Untill yesterday. i am playing WOW like i do everyday :) and my freind tells me to play CS 1.6 with him so i jump on and to my surprise its running HORRIBLE. around 15fps. i reboot the comp. still horrible. try switching servers. downloading recent drivers. still horrible.

now i get back on wow which not more then 3 hours ago i was running perfectly and its now running at 15fps. NONE of my hardware or software settings have changed to my knowledge.

Can anyone explain to me this recent drop in FPS for no reason?

Hello dfhlink, Welcome To Majorgeeks :)
Have you tried scanning for Malware problems at all? Certain spyware threats are know to slow you system down dramatically! There is also a possible chance of video card failure :( However, if this was the problem usually there would be a much bigger sign
