Franklin Electronics Publisher Bookman Destop Manager

I have a problem trying to reach a website through the web tab of the Franklin Bookman Desktop Manager program. When I click the link on the page it opens up Internet Explorer, but nothing happens, it comes up blank. And I need to do it through the program in order to register and buy products on there website. I tried emailing them but they have not responded.
Anybody has any suggestions?

Excuse me for not specifying this important information. The operating system that I am using is Window 98 SE.

Go to start.. run.. then copy and paste this into the run box and hit enter

REGSVR32 MSHTML.DLL

if it says that it was successful, then try out your link again.

I did what you told me to do and it said it was successful.

I want to let you know that I called Franklin Electronic Publishers technical support and they told me that the program might have been corrupted and I had to reinstall it. I told them that I had already done this. Then they told me that it could be my browser. They told me that I should update my internet explorer.

What I am think of doing is installing Netscape since I have the latest version on CD. Because it would be very time consuming for me to download the latest version of Internet Explorer.

I think I know what may have happened. There was a bad sector found on my hard drive and it happened to be a part of the Internet Explorer program files, (in the temp files).

I will install Netscape 7 and make it my default browser and then I will let you know what happened.
