FRAPS and framerate things

Okay, i want to show my framerate in games, so i can show off uuuuh i mean get an idea of how well my system is doing ive tried FRAPS but it doesnt seem to do anything... both the free free version and the demo version.

Ive heard also in HL:CS there is a CL variable to show your framerates... what is it and how is it set? via the console, that is. I can work out how to edit my config file from that

And also ive got the UT2k3 demo, is there any way to run a demo thru that and keep looping till i press escape or whatever to get an idea of prolonged use....

 

I have not had any problems with Fraps.

For CS, I belive you want to type 'net_graph 3'.

 

ok people i got fraps but when i got to view to the recording media player cum up with fuxxy screen but u can hear the sounds, can any one help me plzz
