    Hi everyone,

I'm working on a laptop computer with a LCD problem I've never seen before. When you boot the computer it immediatly starts flashing solid colors in 2 second intervals. I've hooked up an external monitor and it boots to windows fine and functions perfect except that the screen on the laptop continues to flash the colors solid red, solid blue, solid black, and solid white continuously. It's not the backlight and I don't think it would be the graphics since the external monitor functions fine. I've already opened up the screen and laptop and reseated all video cables. I'm thinking of replacing the lcd inverter hoping that that will fix the problem. Could it be the screen itself? Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Brian
