Free HDTV Through an antenna

Hi, I need help, would I be sble to use this Motorola HD DVR QIP6416-2 unit, on off the air HDTV, & analog cable? Thank You

If you bought this box used, and it has a company like bronizs claims on the bottom sticker, then there may be a reward for returning it given you give enough info how to press charges to the person who stole the box in the first place.

No, that DCT is for QAM only (unscrambled digital cable) and not ATSC (digital Over The Air) or NTSC (analog OTA). If you plug it into cable it may phone home and alert them of your where abouts.

 

It won't even do that. It will not work period, because for one, the person would have to be on the same provider system that the box is manufactured for. All they are going to get if they hook it up, is a screen of nothing.
