Free Program To Wipe SATA Drives

    Does anyone know of a free program to wipe SATA hard drives? I used a program that ran on linux but it doesn't see SATA drives. Thanks.

    I actually just found one and tested it. It's called Killdisk. Works good.

    Hi

    Try this one DBAN as last time I used it, it worked ok with the SATA drive I needed to wipe.

    If not try this one Hard Drive Eraser 2.0

    Edit noticed your post, Killdisk, good choice, forgot about that one.

    I actually do normally use DBAN but that kept giving me an error so since it was my first time using it on a SATA drive I assumed it couldn't wipe SATA drives. I'll try it on my next one probably next week. The Killdisk worked well. Thanks for the other options as well.
