free software for adding logos to videos

    i am looking for a free software that would allow me to insert a logo (or watermark logo) in the corner of the screen of a video (and to adjust how long it displays)
    it has to be freeware

    also i was looking for a program that could help me join multiple videos together (don't suggest windows movie maker, the format that it is trying to export it as takes too long)
