free website hosting uk

not sure where to post this, but am trying to find a good free web hoster (cos im not working) for my new business idea, i dont need much space (5-10mb is fine) but dont particulary want ads on it, and important is a short/ good name.
anyone got any good suggestions?

For hosting I would check out: www.dot.tk since its free but it comes with a popup ad. If you can spend $8.50 a year check out www.godaddy.com.

For hosting I use www.host-dot.com. It comes with a huge load of futures including no ads, and 250mb of space.

Both of these are free.

 

thanks for your suggestions, the last one you mentioned looked quite good... but the website is not operable at the moment, maybe i will try again in a few weeks, and then register with the tk one as well.

 

You mean host-dot? You can still register. But the registration takes like a week or two. I didn't get mine until two weeks after because they are working on a new site or something.
