   Hoping first off your Laptop has wireless built in so what is the make and model of the laptop, also what Windows version and service pack you using?
   
   
   But to get free WiFi then you need to be close to a free WiFi hotspot, and this should help you find some in your location http://v4.jiwire.com/search-hotspot-locations.htm
   
   Alot of cafe's, schools, libraries have free wifi so check with them.
