Freeap 360 Wifi Card And Software (help Me Please)

Hello and welcome to my hellish issue! I'm sorry its so long, but I figured you'd need as many details as possible to help us all through this cyclone of a thing. Im pretty sure this belongs here, if not, move it, don't delete it please, I actually hope you guys can help... T_T


I'll be questioning the meaning of life, but more importantly, what the hell this software says! We'll start with the website that shows exactly what I'm using to use this software. I am current fly using as the PC, a Compaq win 7 home edition os 4 gigabyte ram with a dual core CPU and black black black I can't look at it because I'm on mobile and I'm insulting myself enough talking about this 8 year old toaster piece of garbage that has nothing to do with the issue at hand! ANYWAYS! I am having issues with the software provided with the hardware shown as the forum read title. Here's a visual of the item I've had the misfortune and foolishness to purchase. That link down there goes to a shopping thing for a portable hotspot creator, wireless connector to a router and cloud storage device from what I've heard. And has been a pain in my behind for the least 4 days of having it. The software cane be found at http://wifi.360.cn/ (below green section, middle button) As you've probably astutely noticed, its all in Chinese (Mandarin specifically from what I've heard) and as you may have already noticed, I speak English! That's my main issue, the secondary issue is this is a relatively new product (AGAIN "from what I've heard") and has yet to gain an English translation. Now onwards to the actual issue at hand, the snafu if you will. I installed the software," as ya do" and was told to uninstall it after, (this installs the hardware's driver and allows it to connect to and internet through a router via wireless access[and does a damn good job too, albeit slightly unstable for some reason (disconnecting and reconnecting said hardware and losing connection to the internet in the process[still not what my issue mainly is BTW])]) and in my stupidity, I decided to experiment with the software and now the device is stuck connected to a network hotspot that I've created and refuses to seek out actual router signals, and will not connect to the internet thusly. And this finally, is where my issue resides. Thank you for reading, and I understand this is both literally and expressionately a foreign issue, but I hope that not only will you look into the matter for me (as you have a "decent amount" more and better resources than me (a 17 year old highschool student just getting a crack at the new world with hardly any extensive knowledge of technology) and can benefit with knowledge of said issue and help with the problem (I just hope to god I can finally be done with this bull and get back to my life instead of trying at night to read what I can't even understand...) The issue doesn't lie within chrome, or the website, I'm using a software I downloaded from that site to install the driver for the "WiFi card" and to use its other functionalities, however, I had tried to mess with the settings and it will not seek any nearby network connections and tries to make its own connection (presumably to allow other devices to connect to that)

EDIT: I realized after rereading it like 3 times, do you think I can actually make that work?

 

I can't give you system specs ATM, I'm at school, I'll do it in around 2 hours or so. As for "Make what work?" I mean send them feedback and see if they will reply with a response in English.

As an update, I sent a feedback response on the issue I'm having to the distributor's website as you (kinda) suggested. Hopefully I can get information on it. However, I still want to make this thread a thing because it will be here for people who have the same issue as me and come here for help (because it's inevitable)

Has no built in WiFi card, Does have an Ethernet cable slot, can connect via Ethernet, I do have an Ethernet cord, but the whole reason of buying a "Chinese Dongle" is to not use a Ethernet cord (because I'm done dealing with swapping out computers literally ever other day because we only have 1 WiFi cable and I have zero will to live after dealing with it so much and trying not to complain about it) I doubt my father is willing to purchase another one, and im certainly not up to install it (We have it bobbing and weaving behind a heavy (oak wood) vanity like thing (pronounced ker-dan-za [don't know how to spell it correctly]) and this was a cheaper way I think. If you could send me a link to a good WiFi Card, I will gladly buy it and install it.

I will get the number later when I'm out of school. And thank you all for the massive amounts of help provided thus far. I have yet to gain a response from the distributing company, still waiting for that.

Just realized something, there are three clear cut goals for this thread, the first is a request for information on the software for the item I'm using,

Please note I am using the Gen2 Model, not the Gen3 model(Shown in the above media) (as described on WiFi.360.cn (I believe?) xD) which is the smaller, more colorful model (with soft touch plastic which is surprisingly easy on the skin <3)

Number two is to possibly make a translated version for them, find one that was already made, or simply to help translate the software via a video or something to help English users, I know this item is a relatively new product, and that they are possibly working on an English translation, so perhaps it's better to just wait, but even still, if possible for people to put what is easily made down to work, please do.

Number three is to figure out all of the functions this device has and cleanly and plainly explain them in this very thread so that we may help any other passerbys and possibly gain more traffic on your site for this product, or simply raise awareness for this product (because this product as it seems is extremely useful) and so-on so fourth. Hope this explains exactly what we're looking for.

And a request found later on throughout the creation of this thread: Could anyone point me into the direction of a good cheap (or fairly inexpensive) wifi card that can be installed into my desktop computer and maintain a stable connection. (This chinese version does a great job with connecting to the internet quickly and effectively, but for some reason disconnects every once in awhile, [not from the internet, but from the computer itself, almost as though it is shutting down frequently or dropping connection from the computer in a low power state {Which is not the case because I made sure in the software component installed for the item to run that it did NOT shut down in a low power state due to the computer}]) <--- this issue I hope can also be solved for me.

Or I can just look at what a WiFi card takes up and open the computer and see for myself. I mean, I DID kinda upgrade the thing x3

Kinda suspected there to be no manual for the one I have, considering it came with a quad fold pamphlet and all the information written in Chinese (likely only with the functionalities written down, and nothing else important aside from the website to download the software from to install it)

 

Solution found for problem: "WiFi card keeps connecting and disconnecting for some reason"

Bad port, I simply switched ports and reinstalled the drive and it fixed. Stable and fast connection now <3

(This WiFi card is the bomb, 9/10 would recommend, have bought again)
