freecell score file

Yes should be able to get this file or information although its saved in a registry file over a normal file,

need to open regedit ( just click Start then Run and type regedit and hit enter ) then click CTRL+F to bring up the Find/Search box and type Freecell and hit enter, you should see the below location

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Applets\FreeCell

if you do then right click it and choose Export, then call the file Freecell. transfer this to the other PC and then with the saved Freecell.reg file double click it and you will gain a warning of merging the data with the current registry, so click ok/yes to continue, this will merge the file and keep the saved games.


NOTE: editing the registry is not to be taken lightly as this controls how windows works, so risk is yours in editing or merging registry data from another PC or Windows version, as while it may work cross Windows versions it may not, so Win98 registry location may not be the same as Windows XP or Vista, as my Vista location for Freecell is HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.FreeCellSave-ms
