FREEMAKE Video converter audio problem

    Converted my first 5 files to DVD. Very simple, everythinbg looks great on playback with one exception:

    About every 45 sec or so the audio pauses with a bit of noise on the screen. Too annoying to live with.:(

    Thanks in advance for any enlightenment on this issue.

    When playing with video and you have issues it is best to be sure all drivers are up to date and possibly codecs as well. It also requires the latest .Net fromaework. Do you know how to check this? Also as many programs that are open should be closed as possible.

    From there you will need to see if you can find an answer at their website because this is apllication specific. http://www.freemake.com/how_to/

    Thank you much. Hasn't been that long since I did a drivers check but will do so again. Codecs? Not sure exactly what they are or how to fix them. I just got a new update on net framwork so I should be good there.

    Good morning...

    Just a follow-up FYI: Freemake Video Converter was recently updated (2012-02-17) to version 3.0.1.15, so make sure you've got the latest edition which might include bug fixes...

    Got the latest edition - if that's what they had up at their website - I didn't check the numbers. The problem is still there.

    Not sure if I made this clear, but I have been downloading in AVI. These files play perfectly on the PC. It's only the DVD conversions that have the problem.

    Next to try is downloading in different formats and see if that makes a difference.

    Thanks everyone for the info. I've at least eliminated some avenues.
