Freemake Video Downloader

    I just downloaded the Freemake Video Downloader 3.8.0.8 program from the authors' site on Majorgeeks. My Total Security 360 anti-virus went nuts and wants to remove it, calling it "High-risk win32/virus.adware.66e"

    What gives?

    The warning's on the download page:

    License:     Ad-Supported

    The notes section includes the sentence: "Make sure that our free video downloader is freeware in the truest sense of the word: no adware, no spyware, no online registration!", which is presumably from an earlier version of their blurb and they have switched to ad-supported since then.
