Freeware 2 reduce PDF file size ???

Any suggestions on freeware program 4 reduce PDF file sizes.
Ones we have 'googled' have not had good reviews.
Sounds like not an easy task.
Any suggestions ?

 

Compress them with 7zip, or you could take a look to this search:

Had seen most of the 'search' programs, and they did not have good reviews.
Will try 7zip when get to a high-speed connection.
Tried downloading with dial-up, while at temp location, and timed out.

 

7zip would fit on a floppy (just a bit over 1MB) so you should be able to download it on dialup with no problem.

Finally got back to office and downloaded 7zip.
Tried 7zip to compress 14.7mb pdf to zip format and 7zip took it down to 14.6mb.
Not much help.
Still looking, in case anyone has a suggestion.

you can use the options under the print menu from primoPdf to select which type of media you need to send this for.
At least that's what I remember.. been a while.
