Freeware System Doctor Needed

Can anyone tell me about a system doctor i can use to "fix" my computer? Can't afford to buy Nortons

Before recommending anything it would be helpful to know what OS that you are running, and what specific problems that you are having.

 

sorry im running windows 98.2, and i keep getting all sorts of error messages concerning all sorts of comments......it's on a pentium 100, i'm not relly a pc minded person, sorry

 

Now that we know you are running Win98, it would be helpful if you would list some of the errors exactly as they appear on your screen. If you don't have AdAware SE and Spybot Search and Destroy installed, scroll to the bottom of this page, click on the Spyware Tools entry. This will carry you to the Downloads section of MajorGeeks, and both programs can be downloaded from there. Download, install, update and run both programs. Both are freeware and will/can fix many sources of errors.
I will have to do some research on Win98, as it has been a while since I've ran anything other than 2000 and XP. Post back with any sucess or failure.
