I got out of the malware forum a few days ago and removed a virus. However, Firefox would freeze at random intervals (it's not much but noticeable when I try to run any videos). It would get even get worse when I tried playing games that were installed on this computer that previously didn't have problems. I rebooted the computer in safe mode and everything ran normally so I'm guessing it's a software problem. Any help would be appreciated :).

I disabled all the services that aren't related to Windows 7 and it's still happening. Will anything happen if I disabled any Windows 7 services?
