friends computer keeps going to sleep..?

    everytime it gets switched on it goes back into shut down mode don't know operating system....has anybody out there got any clues.

    I'm assuming this is a laptop. Make sure it isn't the battery. Even when the battery was full my laptop would just go into hybernate. Plug in the AC adapter and see if it still goes into hybernate. Otherwise, listen to robo and disable the hybernate or any other powersaving feature.
