front panel connectors issue

old computer didn't start, so had to get a new motherboard.

the 5 wires attached to the case is plugged into the front panel connectors on the motherboard.

the computer does not start.

are you sure you have connected the power switch to PS_ON?
What motherboard do you have?

they said it is good. i looked at the manual the motherboard came with, and the wires should to be plugged in correctly. the case is ultra brand. the colors of the wires are white, black, red, or blue.

 

you can try shorting the PS_ON pins with the tip of a screwdriver to see if its a power switch problem. Are you sure your power supply is ok? see if it will start up without the motherboard pluged in, you need to short the green with a black this is how-
