Front-side audio trouble!

Hey guys,

Recently, my mic stopped working. Now, I have 3 mics, and none of them worked on my computer for some reason one day, so I'm assuming my rear mic port is fried or disconnected. Anyway, I have a mic port on the front of my computer, and I wanted to give that a try. I've been messing around for.. hours now, and I just can't figure it out. Has anyone ever had experience with this kind of thing? Its tough! The manuals don't help me at all, either.

I'm using a Asus A7V-600X mobo with a Raidmax Scorpio 868. Thanks in advance, guys!

are you sure that your mic isn't accidentally muted? check in your volume control. - sos
