Here is my problem, I'm building a system on old tech and it bl-ws. Now thats out of the way, I've got and Via tech p4xb-s Mobo, the latest bios flash direct from via, and suposedly it will support up "beyond" 2.0ghz, I've got a 2.4Ghz 512/333 Pentiium 4 chip, and it shows up as 1.8Ghz (100mhzX18 ratio) I tweaked it out and at 124 mhzX19 I get 2.19, and I uped the voltage up to 1.64, now anything more then that on any of those settings and I get no boot, and have to reset everything. This is the link to the mobo manual http://www.via.com.tw/download/mainboards/3/5/p4xb-s-r_v1.3.pdf, is that 2.4 out of its range ? Let me know what you think.
