I have an AMD Athlon XP3000+ CPU, and just installed it in my new mobo. I can't run it at 333Mhz ( Frequency of 166), because evertime i'm about to get to the Windows XP screen (the black/loading screen) it restarts. Now i switched it both 133MHz and 100Mhz and then it works. When its at 166 the temp doesn't go above 55F, so i don't think this is a heating issue.....but then what do I know???? So would some of you more experienced people please, PLEASE help me. I don't know what to do.

Does your ram support 166 FSB ( 333DDR ) ???? Make sure your running stock memory timings....

well PC 2700 is DDR333 so it should work....maybe check for a 1:1 memory:FSB ratio or maybe thares a setting to force DDR333 .... My gess is some how its trying to run DDR400 and the DDR333 stick wont do it....
