FTP Problem

I think something is wrong with my IP because I can't make an FTP server. I am using bullet proof FTP to make an FTP server and whenever I go to the server it says that access is denied. I am positive that I am typing the right password, URL, and username. Just so ya know I am using a router if that makes any difference. I just wanted to see if I could get any help before I call technical support at frontier net.

BTW, I am on a dsl connection.

You have mapped a port in the router to the IP of the box with the ftp server, I assume.

 

I got it working now. I had to change the port.
