Ftp

Can one get a free FTP site? If so, who do you recommend?

MrPewty I think mcadam88 was talking about a place on the net to store his stuff not a ftp program.

You might be able to find some somewhere but i dont know why you would want to.

If you sign up for a free website most of the time you are able to use ftp with that site.

What do you want it for?

 

ah right well thats a program sorry. your isp might provide you webspace, mine does and quite a few do.

 

It's for the rapid transfer of files. MSN is too slow. How might I go about it?

 

ok have you got webspace or do you need webspace, i'm a little confused here. smartftp is really good for uploading but if you need space then signing up for a free site like tripod.com is ok.

Only you can't use an FTP program to access.

Used to have one at freeyellow.com (could use FTP) but they quit the free stuff.

Haven't been able to find much for free.
