For some reason windows will not recognise my fuji camera however it used to work.

I have tried plugging the USB Port into my mobile phone and this does work.

Could I have inadvertently altered a setting?

Can you please advise? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Go to the Fuji site and download (if they have them) a new set of updated drivers. Before to reinstall the drivers, delete or copy the old ones (if you know where the folder is) and try. Let us know.

    Hi

What Windows version are you using?

What I would try is with no un-needed USB items plugged in open Device manager and click Univeral Serial Bus Controllers and open up the chain, then plug in your camera and if the listing changes and has a new item device, delete/uninstall it, then unplug camera, reboot and then plug in the camera again as the OS should pick up that a new device is present and load the default mass driver.

Thank you so much for your help when advising me to open up the device manager. I found the camera drivers empty and realoaded. Everything is fine now and up and running.

    Kind regards,

    Hothag :)
