I had a similar problem when i did a fresh install of windows on a F' S' Amillo,
I had to go to the SiS website and download Drivers/Software for that machine there!!! I suppose you may have to do the same...
    This is their website..
    http://www.sis.com/download/agreement.php?url=/download/

In the left hand corner there is an option to Identify Your Machine click on this and it will give you all the info you need on your board and all the up-to-date drivers and software.
    I hope this helps.

I found them but I don't know how to get you back to the page. I used google translate. Anyway when the file completes download I'll upload it to mediafire. About 5 minutes.

Here is the direct download from MediaFire http://www.mediafire.com/file/c9980ed8bw24bhz/E1003990.exe It looks like ti is an executable so I hope it will install the drivers with no input (the language may be japanese).

If you want to get them over at Fujitsu. Click the tab on the page indicated by the arrow in the picture below. Then on the new page there is a link to click for Notebook PC found under Corporate PC. You then find your model and then select your OS and then Audio driver.

***It the installer is troublesome because of a language problem this is the file version V 5.10.0.5377 Sticking that in google gives lots of results that might be helpful to find an English version. I'd try the Fujitsu driver first to see if it automatically installs.

@tgell, I'm really not sure. The drivers I pointed to are from the laptop manufacturer's site and should work. They are dated July 2007 so that might apply since they are past the March 2007 date referenced.

I think manethz22 should follow Halo's advice in the thread referenced in post #14. It includes the fix in case he is still running XP2 and the original audio drivers.

Glad to hear you finally got it working. It sounds like you might be running XP SP1 so you needed the UAA HD Audio driver fix.

Your persistence paid off. Good job! :)
