Fun at the office

One of my bosses got a bunch of boxes delivered to the office today (waited to the last minute), so my other boss and I had a little fun

Having worked in construction /renovation most of my adult life I`ve been in on and subjected to lotsa cool(notice the proper spelling of cool)stuff. Never-Sieze in a hard hat liner is a good one, grinding flat spots on gang-box wheels, cutting 2 inches, followed by sanding, off of a hammer handle is a beauty, too. One more that happened to me, made me furious, but I ended up laughing in a big way, someone(culprit never nabbed)got into my drill index and ground all the points flat. Oh yeah...we had this carpenter named Al Garlic(no kidding)he went on vacation, and while he was gone we got a lock-smith to pick the lock on his gang-box, then we super-glued the lid shut and replaced the lock. I almost wet myself watching him try futilely to get that thing open.

 

my hubby is also in construction. i think he would kill someone that messed with his tools. they are how he earns his living, they already take up a fair portion of his budget. i cannot imagine him thinking that any of that was funny. his pranks tend to be things like sending someone to the hardware store for a 'long wieght', or a 'lefthanded hammer', or a 'new bubble for the level' there are many more but i dont remember them. aloha

 

A good one for new guys around heavy equipment is to check the spark plugs.
