I'm having an isssue with Remote Desktop Connection, or maybe it's Citrix ICA. In other words, the program gets shut down when using Terminal Services on a Windows NT 4.0 Terminal Server, but not when running the program through a mapped network drive.

The error happens at a specific place in the program...reading the log file it seems to happen when the program tries to create a new window and causes an access violation.

I tried to attach the log file, but it's not attaching for some reason. I hoping something can be done to fix the error. Please help!

Hmmm, citrix, haven't heard that for awhile. Only knowledge I have, is reading the manual.

Have you looked into a possible permissions issue? Are you just trying to remote control the terminal server from a citrix client? Are you on the server and through citrix tyring to control a remote client?

It's a client connecting to the server via Citrix to run a program. The program causes and access violation and Dr. Watson shuts it down. It seems certain clients are more prone to causing errors. They all have the same permissions. I read somewhere about Malware causing WFICA32.EXE to cause errors...

I still can't attach that Dr. Watson file...after a few minutes, I get Page Cannot Be Displayed. It shows some neat Assember code!

Finally! I was able to attach the file. Is it true that attachments are limited to 4 KB?

Does anyone know how to fix the Dr. Watson error...the access violation?

    Thanks.

Have you checked your software and system event logs, it might help out on what is going on here.

I have checked them, but list anything specific to the error. Dr. Watson's my biggest help. The error occurs only on certain clients, some of the time, but it always looks the same in the Dr. Watson log.
