So here's the deal. I bought a Presario c751NR a couple year ago for school. It did what I needed it to, but being the geek that I am, I just need to mess with it. I already flashed the BIOS and am able to get 3.5GB of RAM in there, and I have a Intel T7800 processor on the way to replace theT2330 that it came with. Now here's my big question, is it possible to solder in a new graphics chip to replace the crappy Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 graphics? Would it take a better onboard chip? Or am I stuck with the X3100? Thanks in advance to anyone that can help or give advice.

I don't' think it's possible to do that due to the mobo.

    Hi

Sadly stuck with the Intel gfx chip, not as simple as soldering a new chip in. One of the pitfalls of laptops in not easy to swap out hardware, compaired to a desktop.

I was afraid of that. Oh well. I guess I can't complain too much for what I paid for the thing. Thanks for the info guys. MG is the best.
