Funny quirks

Everyone has these funny things that they do most of the time with out knowing it.

I have a tendency to make a face when someone says something, anything and not even realize it! My face is very expressive so if you say something I dont or do like trust me you'll know! For the longest time I would always wonder why people would say to me "why are you looking at me like that?" Heck I didnt know my thoughts were being betrayed by my face! Now that I know I have to try REALLY hard to keep a straight face when someone is talking to me!! geez, cant even have a thought to myself! LOL

The second one is when ever I pick up a can/bottle/cup and lift it to take a sip my pinky always sticks upLOL Its automatic unless Im paying attention then I force it to stick to the can/bottle/cup cuz I think it looks silly.

Those are the only two that I've noticed Im sure there is probably more rolleyesLOL

I tend to be OCD about locking doors. I'll leave for work, get out to the car (or a block from home if walking that evening) and sometimes HAVE to go back and check the door . . . when I know mentally I locked it . . . sometimes I just gotta rattle it again.

Ditto on the coffee pot. Turn it off. Check it again . . . rolleyes

My wife says I am overly cautious. I respond with "whats your point?"

 

When I hold a door open for someone in a shop and they do not acknowledge my manners, I always retort loudly "you are welcome" or "thank you".
Okay it is sarcasm, but it doesn't mean people can walk through life not knowing what good manners are

We must be related dy, I had a plastic surgeon tell me not to speak after being stitched up following an accident when I was young due to the fact I was so expressive, was cut by the corner of my eye up to my hairline, so lots of stitches over 150 but sooo small it looked like one solid black line. I do the pinky thing too.

That's quite sad, i like to do nice things like that for people and generally find most of them will at least smile

 

I do the same thing! I find it so rude when people dont even acknowledge you. If I do, however, find that someone is holding the door for me or what ever I make sure to thank them!

 

I had some woman ram into me at the grocery store with her cart, and I was in line off to the side. She just kept going without a glance back, I asked, " I'm sorry, was I in your way"? She looked surprised and said no, I said, "I must have been cus you just ran into me" She goes Oh and walks off.

 

Ouch!

At first I didnt know I made faces, people would usually tell me afterwards. Ive gotten a little better now that I know that I do it but it really is annoying not being able to have a thought to my self rolleyes

Forget stuff?? Ha I'd forget my head if it werent attached! (I think you know how bad my short term memory isLOL)

I cant stand loud anything! Heh, they are quirks alright!

 

I'm guilty of both. So what do I do when people have loud voices? Depends - but if they really grate on my nerves, I've been known to just close my eyes and have a look of distain whilst they are talking/yelling at me. They either laugh, apologise, or get ticked off with me.

When I get really flustered and busy, trying to do about six things at once, and none of them really well, I've been known to look for something (pen, or whatever) - sometimes still in my hand (yeah, yeah, I'm a nut!). That's when I know it's time to 'lighten up', and take it slower.

 

I hate it when people talk loudly on mobile phones especially in restaurants i have been known to wheel up to the table make a scene my wife gets so embarrassed and i know I'm gonna get :crap when we get out.:boxing

now here it's smoking is banned indoors where the public are only started this year and one that really got me going was someone lighting a cigarette whilst people were still eating i always waited until everybody had finished.:ban

 

I really hate when people in a group ignore the rest of the group, just to talk to other "friends" on a mobile phone.

I have been know to just get up and leave, sticking every one else with my bill.

 

I've thought of another one and you may think Im a little strange but I like most of my food slightly burnt :yum I dont know why I just like it.

 

I like almost all my meat well done. That is for sure. The only thing I like not cooked all the way through is sushi.:yum:yum

Im not just talking about meat, I like bread, bagels, pretty much anything you can cook burnt (Im a hit with friends who make things and burn them )

As for sushi uke I orderly dislike anything ocean related.

 

I like my bread a bit on the well done side too for certain things. But I want my toast kind of light, not that that makes a lick of sense.

Hmmm white Tshirts I only seems to wear white Tshirts,other colours feel uncomfy I have a wardrobe and drawers full of white Tshirts its a bit weird I suppose I know people who see me must think I only have one Tshirt,who cares

 

Haha, I had a friend in high school and everyday he wore a white t-shirt, jeans, and tims. We used to make jokes that he only had one outfit LOL
