I see that Wenchie is bringing another spawn into the world. Quite frightening.
I hope that all are well.
I can't remember if I've updated since my Moab trip.
The wife and I (remember when she was just a girlfriend, and Kodo was rumored to have porn?)
went to Utah in the Jeep.
Good times.

Here's Delicate Arch, it's the one on Utah's license plate.
Helluva walk to get there. "Some Exposure to heights" is the USFS euphemism for a 30" wide ledge with a 400 ft sheer drop.

Lately I've been building rifles.
I built my first AK-47 last month. Now I'm building one for the wife.

I think I'm going to build a FAL rifle as well. Amateur gunsmithing is a good time, and it's given me a diversion from the Jeeps.

insurance isn't really important when you're looking at falling 200+ feet in a Jeep. It's not likely you're gonna make it to the hospital.

I retired 2002, moved to house on ski hill Steamboat, got snow crazy, moved back to Houston area in 2005.
Now I'm just a retired old pooty-meister who plays golf 4-5 days a week.
