FX-57 vs X2 4800+?

    Hey guys im building a new computer for gaming, and I was wondering which is better, AMD FX57 or X2 4800+?

    Multi-Core: Single-Core

    I know normally more GHz is better, but this is single vs dual, can anyone reccommend the best one for gaming?

    Thats a tough one. If the PC is just gonna be used for gaming then i probley would go with the FX57. But some would also say 2 cores is better than one!

    Allright, by what im reading... i think i'll stick with the single-core FX57
