FX 5700LE Big Ass Prob

Ok, well let me start by this,
today I just got my new Video card ( FX 5700LE 256DDRAM ) Nvidia offcourse, and I had the MX 440 128 MBRAM (lol at that card), so what I do is, I go to control pannel and then, Device Manager/Remove Display Adapter, then I go to add new hardware and select Add New Hardware and I clicked on '' I didint plug in the hardware '', now correct me if I was wrong, and if Im wrong correct me again , I unplugged the old screwed up card, replace it by the new one, tunrned on the PC, installed the drivers shut down the pc. I turn on the PC and all what came out of my mouth was '' F***, SH**, M*T*E******R , SOB , '' the screen or the view was like shit, all I was viewing was the actual icons of the windows desktop bt there was white stripes, pink blocks everything was messed up, not only on the desktop but on everything, even when I first turn on the PC, the INTEL LOGO, Windows XP logo every single thing, and if I set the resoloution higher than 640 800 the PC would restart and would keep restarting on the WINDOWS XP LOGO b4 the signing in.
But the MX440 (the old crap) is still working WOW. i dno what the problem is. The thing is that the card is brand new I just took it out of the box.
Did I do ne thing wrong? How could I fix this problem? Im not viewing ne thing correctly im now using the MX440

 

You could start with proper English but I digress... anyways your supposed to remove old drivers first, then plug in the new card, make sure its seated correctly, and then turn on ur pc and install the new drivers from nvidia.com only; not the CD.

 

English is my 3rd language excuse me, but thats what i did too.
