    If, for whatever reason, your client OS gets hung in VMPlayer 3.0(and you have Player set to suspend when you shut it down), change the preference in Player to shut down instead of suspend and restart the OS when rebooting your set up.
    Had an issue when installing new RAM (part of which was not recognized by the host system) that caused Ubuntu 9.04 to hang under Player. Switched back to the old RAM and Ubuntu was still hung so had to reboot in Player to get things going again.
