Game Accelertor Disaster.

Ok, basically I play World of Warcraft on a 56k Modem... What a mistake right? Well it's listed on the site as Min. Requirement so I think they really should change it, most of the time my latency is fine but let's not even talk about Ironforge... ANYWAY. I really wanted to speed things up a little so I downloaded and tried Game Accelerator from this site and it decreased my latency a little. I used it for a few days until it came time for me to play Warcraft 3, and when I did I was shocked to find out It was all glitchy and laggy and almost impossible to play. I have made the assumption that it was the game accelerator that did it. it may have increases World of Warcraft's performance but none of my other games will work right now... Apparently it made some unknown changes with my graphics card and now I have no idea how to fix it. I un-installed the program and messed with a few things but nothing seems to work and now the only game I can play is WoW.

PLEASE tell me someone has had this problem and has a solution, I really don't want to reformat my computer again. I swear I'll rip out all my hair.

 

game accellerators are either a) a way to cheat in mp games (makes your char move faster etc) or b) "tweaks" your system for better performance. And by tweak I mean destroy it. They're useless apps that everyone can live without. Best try is to uninstall your drivers, reinstall them (video). Or reinstall the games emselves.
