Game Cube Collecting Dust

Bought the Game Cube do to NASCAR Thunder 2003. I love racing games that are realistic as possible. Was hoping Nintendo could have had more racing games made, but the cube lost it's appeal to the general consumer. I for one like the Game Cube and it's controls.

I had a really good race game for my PC too by Sierra Originals. It was IndyCar Racing. Use to play that allot too till my Brother's or Sister's kids took it. Miss playing it too! :cry

I have NASCAR Racing for PC too by the same company that made IndyCar Racing. But I cannot get the sound to work. And racing with the keyboard arrow keys is annoying at best.

Would like to have something in boat racing and motorcycle racing - some day. :cool

I suggest investing in the momo racing wheel or similar. makes those racing games about ten times more enjoyable. One of the best things i ever bought

 

they have accessories you can buy for racing games that work with your pc. They have foot pedals, steering wheels , shifter, etc just google you will find some good stuff

 

I always thought the steering wheel to game systems kinda sucked. They were cheap and didn't make it feel more realistic, and more then anything annoying. My pedals would slide on the ground due to nothing on the bottom they were plastic. My steering wheel didn't adjust until later on ones they made that tilt a little. Also I thought the turning itself was off and pretty bad. And finally i had to stick my wheel ontop of a box to play. So it was annoying and fell.. So I sold it within a week.

 

Oh man,Game Cube was the last system I bought $29.99 used at game craz#
I love it and it's darn near indestructible. Not to mention most used games are under 6 bucks...woot
Need for speeds "most wanted" gave me cramps in my thumbs for days--LOL

 

cant you play gamecube games on the wii?
