Is any one in with gaming design? If so you know any site or programs that would help in me for learning it or tips on what programs to use etc?

I am not, but my son took 4 years of his life to find out he hated coding games.

The reality of secrecy about future games makes it mandatory that as much as possible the coding of games is blind. Instructions like " your input will be X,Y,Z,Q,P write code to do (X(Y-Z))/Q*P for up to 64K values, keep the results positive or zero and return it as a longword called T".
This might be damage done to an opponent, armor mitigation, any number of things but after hundreds of tasks like this with harsh deadlines you will still not know anything about the game until the public does.
A bit closer to the game are the artists, my nephew models characters. In some ways it is the same. He is asked for a female dragon in heavy armor and submits a sketch. The sketch gets bounced back and forth, he models the dragon and eventually the character gets approved. Then he moves on to the next character. He usually does not find out what his characters will do until the public does.
Somewhere much further up the food chain are the thinkers and coordinators that put it all together and decide how it will work. Getting that job takes time, hard work and making good contacts. Most people think of the top tier when they want to "design games".
If you start small, you can build up, but programming another big title is not a small undertaking. Think of a big game as a movie with writers, producers and a ton of support people. Where to start? Consider what you like to do. Try to find someone doing that job for a reality check. Call up the game manufacturers and see what they want to hire then fill in your education.

To get your feet wet make a few Adobe Flash games - easy to learn.

If you do get to enjoy working with flash, www.battleon.com has several flash based online games, and would be a good place to dive in later.

Also depending on where you are, you might try getting a job at one of the game companies.
