game does not download

I have been trying to download FIFA 2006 and it will load until the 2nd disc at 35% and then a window will pop up stating " A problem occurred when trying to transfer the file D:\ data\cmm\be\motion.big from the media"
I am running XP home edition, 512 mb, radeon 9250 and all the processoor speeds and devices exceed the game requirements. I had this game on my computer before. The hard drive was fixed and made virus free and now FIFA will not load. All background programs were dismantled at time of download.

 

Does the game CD have any scratches or smudges?

Is it an original CD?

Try cleaning it with a soft cloth. Go from the centre out to the edge. Don't wipe it in circles.
