Game Port to Parallel Port

    is it possible to build a game port to parallel port adapter w/o much extra stuff?

    if so, how?

    i have a newer mbo that does not have a game port but a joystick that does

    You can most probably buy a pci card that has a game port, or an extra sound card that has one. Sadly the Creative ones don't have the right amount of pins for a game port.

    I believe you can get game port to usb adaptors though.....

    yeah i tried a creative sound card it froze up my system on boot everytime :(

    i dont really want to spend 15$ on a gameport to usb adapter i just want the schematics on how to wire a diy gameport to parallel port adapter i read that its easy on another forum but they didnt provide the info on how to do it

    i have all the necessary parts

    i just need the schematics
