Hey Gang, I'd like to load a flying type game (with joystick) on my pc and was wondering what you all would suggest. I'm running an AMD Barton 2500 wth one gig of mem but it has on-board grapics (64 megs Nvidia) and my mem is set up in dual channel. Any good flying games out there that won't unduly tax my video? I have an open AGP slot but really can't afford a high end vid card. Thanks!

With on-board grapics ?? I thought it was very GPU demanding  maybe not....

I highly recommend "Beyond Pearl Harbor Pacific Warriors" It's an older game, but I think you'll like it. It's made by ValueSoft. Very simple interface. While you can fly, and fire weapons with the joystick, you do need to use 2 keys on the keyboard for "speed up" and "speed down". For some reason the joystick throttle doesn't interface with the game. But steering and decend/ascend does function with the stick ( At least on the joysticks I've tried).I love the game because it doesn't have the appearance that your plane is standing still, and the scenery is moving behind it. It really seems like it's your plane that's moving. Plus you get to blow sh*t up !! Real good after a frustrating day at work. LOL
It'll play fine on your machine. You will only notice a VERY slight bit of frame lag POSSIBLY, when firing the machine guns. The other weapons won't cause any interference.

    It depends which one.

2002 isn't, but later ones are.

Well, I picked up Pacific Fighters, and boy, what a game. It'll take me a while to figure it all out. It appears to play quite well on my machine but at a slightly less resolution. Thanks all for your input.
