game tweaks

does anyone know a website that has alot of game preformance tweaks? i know tweakguides but it only does FPS games, i want one that hosts a big database of games....if any one knows, let me know thanx

 

Tweakguides doesn't only do FPS, it also does RPGs like Morrowind, Oblivion, and Neverwinter Nights 2, plus a couple Need for Speed games, to name a few. Then there's Firefox, ATI/nVidia, and a general tweaking guide.

Tweaktown has some game guides, but it's more focused on hardware and Windows. Other than that I can't think of any off the top of my head.

 

ummm...well u do play the elder scroll series with first person and you can also change the camera position to do first person...well did mention fps i guess thats a nono on my part, i know he does do some exceptions but im looking for games like medieval 2 total war and company of heros, something like that

 

Just because it's first person doesn't automatically make it FPS.

FPS=First Person Shooter

Morrowind=/= FPS (you don't go around shooting things, progress, that's it)

Gears of War is an FPS, except it's third person, so I guess you'd call it a TPS. Same idea, though, because there's no leveling, stat raising, RPG-like stuff.

So really you're looking for RTS tweaks? I don't know where to find a site for them off-hand, but you could try looking in the install directory for an .ini file that looks like it has game settings in it. Make a backup before screwing with it, though, because if you're not careful you could make the game stop working!!
