Gamedrive Uninstall program leaves the virtual drive behind

    I uninstalled gamedrive virtualCD from my system, but thought the program uninstalled the virtual drive still shows up in My Computer. How do i get rid of it?

    According to GameDrive, the uninstaller does not delete .vcd files. This must be done manually. Also, you can try removing the entry from Device manager, if its there.

    Otherwise, take a look at msicuu2.exe and see if it shows the entry for it and remove it.

    When i select the virtual drive from Device Manager and click on Uninstall device, it removes the device but then it is back when the system is restarted. I tried windows installer cleanup too. It does not show up in the utility. I have removed the vcd files. My problem is that the virtual drive still shows up inside My Computer along with the DVD RAM drive.
