Hey, I've been coming to Majorgeeks for the past few years, downloaded this and that from time to time when I find a need, and decided to download GameOS to try out on my gaming computer. (FYI, it's not a hardcore gaming pc. Willing to give specs if asked, though that would be offtopic.)

I installed GameOS and McAfee popped up saying that the .exe had a trojan.

D:\ is my second hard drive, if anyone was about to ask why I was installing it to a CD/DVD.

I've looked around the net some, and searched on here before posting, and no one seems to say that there is a virus in the file, and IF they said so, it's only a quick comment on the site and no one seems to say anything else, even when the person downloaded it from here.

Take the exe file and have it scanned at Jotti
    http://virusscan.jotti.org/en
and see if anything else is flagged. If not, look at it as a false positive.

I notice that it is a shareware program so the suspected "trojan" you see, might simply be the program checking how long you have used it and if it is paid.

I had to disable McAfee scanner just to restore the file and open it's containing folder to see it without it being Re-quarantined. (reading from other people who has had their files quarantined, they can't find an answer to stop mcafee from removing it other than disabling real-time and scheduled scanning completely. I see this everywhere, http://community.mcafee.com/message/91484#91484 ).

I got the file scanned, only three scanners flagged it. AVG, F-Prot, and Sophos.

Sorry for bumping, but some help would be nice about using GameOS. I'd like to use it, but don't want to sacrifice all my security. If anything, a suggestion for a different Kernal type would help.
