Gamer in need of help!

recently i switched all my computer components to a new case... when i did so i must have damaged the mobo ... now i cannot use either of my PS/2 ports... So I improvised. I got a PS/2 to USB adapter. You think this would solve my problems but NOPE. The zboard works... but i am a gamer. Now it will not let me press more than one key at once... Now the Zboard software will not find my keyboard. I tried getting a new version but it still wont work. Does this mean i have to buy a new keyboard? Or is there something I can do to make this work? Please... any suggestions greatly appreciated!
