Games Freeware??

I have lost my factory installed games from DELL. I have a Dell4100 PenIII 384mb 20gb Wins Me. Some how I have lost my factory installed games. Proably lost them to spyware invasion. I want to know if someone knows of a "SAFE" web site for GAMES FREEWARE?? With no spyware ofcourse. All I want is Freecell, Solitary, Hearts etc. Can any help me w/ this?? Dont tell me I am SOL!! ODIE

 

Oh yes and you may need the XP CD or the CD that came with your dell to install those if they got completley deleted from your system. But then again, you might not

 

im pretty sure that dell computers dont' come with the xp cd disk because when my grandparents bought a dell they didn't get the xp disk that came with it.

 

you may find them in the system32 folder or the i386 folder

 

I tryed to do a reinstallition of my Wins ME disk, that failed. I can find them in my folders and reinstall them but they wont play. There has to be a simple solution to this problem?? ODIE

 

You can't use the one from the WinME disk. The Dell "recovery disk" should have an i386 folder on it somewhere, unless it actually is just an image file (which would be very inconvinient).

 

I have used the ME disk yesterday and again today. I unstalled the Wins Me and did a reinstallation of the ME disk. Nothing changed the status of my games. Like I said I can find them in Folders but a restoration will not restore them to my programs to be able to play them. Anybody have any suggestions??? ODIE "THIS MUST BE THE CURSE OF A DELL"

 

I tried to unstall ME & reinstall ME in BIOS/ BOOT Config as per instructions from DELL. That failed! Now my comp will only boot(restart) W/ Wins ME disk only. How do I restore my boot config in BIOS to the original setup?? I can boot w/ disk but dont want to wearout my ME disk. DELL is no help!! If I get this solved Ill find games w/ another source. Please Help Me!! ODIE
